The Age March Dream

I am tired of the demands society makes on age; the labels such as senior and elder.  We should not hide our age.
Long ago, I had a dream. I dreamed about a worldwide AGE MARCH for women and men of all ages but especially for those over sixty.   To celebrate their real ages and who they are, and in protest of ageism in the US, everyone in the march would celebrate their real age by wearing their real age on stickers.

Aging well isn’t about botox!  It’s about the spirit! It’s a time not to hide your age but to go forward, not backwards, to re-invent yourself, to write that book, make that movie, and find true love with great sex.  Is true love and great sex possible after sixty in the Viagra generation?

Like the last part of a wonderful book, it’s a time for love, sex, triumphs, to make old and NEW dreams come true, to climb the highest and newest mountain. There are no rules! Live Life To The Fullest!

I’m seventy three and I want to be a movie star! I’m producing and acting in my first one woman show, Two To Tango. This Oct 13, my second show will be at the San Francisco Commonwealth Club. Come see what is possible.  There are no obstacles.  I’m sick and tired of age segregation, of the rules and fallacies, telling us how to be, feel, think, and live.

So everyone march in this historic events. My dream is coming true.

I am fortunate that I have Age Song, and a wonderful committee helping to make this happen.

Now it’s up to you to register.

More later. I will tell you my continued struggle about being over 70 and in the industry, and what really goes on behind the scenes.
